Membership

Bristol 1904 Arts  is a Society which celebrates Art, Music and the Performing Arts.  Whether you paint, sing, play an instrument or just like to enjoy the Arts in good fellowship, Bristol 1904 Arts offers a unique members club environment.

Membership falls into three categories, Artists, Entertainers and those who enjoy being "the Audience". These categories are marked by colours, Red for the Artists , Blue for the Entertainers  and Green for the General Members/Audience. These are distinguished by our tradition of wearing a feather of the appropriate colour.

While we concentrate on the Arts in its various forms, there are many other activity interest groups to pursue, in parallel. These include a   Classic Cars Group, Bird Watching Group, the Walking Group, Cultural Expeditions Group   and Photography Group.  These and all our activities are explained in more detail in the “ABOUT” and “GROUPS” sections of the website.

Membership is open to everyone, with a discount for members and their partners and a super extra discount to attract additional Entertainer Members. We propose to introduce a reduced fee for young members. Naturally to maintain and operate the club we require fees to cover costs! 

This is a Club Society run and operated by volunteer members for members - there are no owners or shareholders!

There is naturally a limit to the number of members we can have because of the size of the hall in which we meet but at present we have some space available in all membership categories.  So if you are interested in possibly becoming a member why not contact any of the following to arrange an informal chat and perhaps we can organise for you to attend a few evenings so that you can see first hand if it's for you!  You would be very welcome!
